Assuming that you don t want your eaves jumping up and down i think you will need to start tweaking the roof slopes.

Align eaves i get the same amount of drop but we have the other option.
Rather than adjusting the overhang i can adjust the height effectively the bearing height of that edge of the roof.

After creating a roof you can adjust the height of the eaves.
While in sketch mode click modify roofs edit footprint tab tools panel align eaves.
Use it to extend the dormer roof to the main roof.
If the roofs have different overhang dimensions you either have different slopes or different eave heights.
It essentially works the same way in that we pick our line that we want to keep or align to first and then we pick the eave line that we want to adjust as well as the other one.
Dimensions display near the eaves to indicate their height.
Select a roof eave line and then select an option for adjusting eave properties.

In order to close off the end of the soffit i will create a new fascia sweep but i will host it to the soffit not to the roof eave or rake.

To keep the ridge line centered on the structure and have 2 eaves at different heights with identical overhangs you would have to have 2 different roof slopes.
