The hardest part of replacing the boat carpet on a pontoon is this tear down process once you have removed all the items from your deck the project becomes very easy.

Remove all of the seating first then the bimini top and then the rails.
Steps completely remove all items on your boat s deck everything that sits on top of your carpet needs to be taken off and set aside including all pontoon boat seats fence railing hardware parts and accessories.
Examine the floor for any high spots of marine adhesive that might remain and sand the spots down being careful not to damage the flooring.
Day 3 install new carpet on boat put boat back together clean up and vacuum.
Cut the pontoon carpet into smaller strips.
12 x19 piece of new carpet.
Day 1 remove parts of boat and all existing carpet.
Spray some glue over a small area at the center of the deck and unroll the carpet enough to glue the center down.

Roll the carpet up and set it aside.
Gently roll the carpet to the heavy object without allowing the carpet to shift.
You want to be able to move easily around the entire boat with people and tools.
To prepare for the removal firstly cut the rug and carpet up into 6 to 8 inch strips.
Day 2 finish removing carpet from all parts cut new carpet and install on parts at shop.
Pull the carpet strips up.
